Frequently asked questions
A typical toastmasters meeting is structured in a way so that members and even guests can have an opportunity to have a speaking role. The meeting is divided into three parts: the first part is where members deliver speeches they have prepared; the second part is where members and guests can participate in Table Topics which is where they can practice their impromptu speaking skills; and the third part is the evaluation session where prepared speakers are given feedback and the entire meeting is also evaluated.
When joining our club, you will be assigned a mentor who will help you get started and support you along the way. You will also be enrolled in a program called Pathways that was created by Toastmasters International to guide you on your toastmasters journey and help you to achieve your communication and leadership goals. You can find out more about Pathways here.(https://www.toastmasters.org/pathways-overview)
