A typical toastmasters meeting is structured in a way so that members and even guests can have an opportunity to have a speaking role. The meeting is divided into three parts: the first part is where members deliver speeches they have prepared; the second part is where members and guests can participate in Table Topics which is where they can practice their impromptu speaking skills; and the third part is the evaluation session where prepared speakers are given feedback and the entire meeting is also evaluated.

Our meetings are warmly open to all. No matter what your goals are in public speaking, communication and leadership, you will have a supportive environment with like-minded members. You can come to one of our meetings as a guest to learn more about our club and see a meeting in action.

When joining our club, you will be assigned a mentor who will help you get started and support you along the way. You will also be enrolled in a program called Pathways that was created by Toastmasters International to guide you on your toastmasters journey and help you to achieve your communication and leadership goals. Our club charges QR 650 for brand new members for the first 6 months, then QR 550 every 6 months.

Our club meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month from 6:15 to 8:30 pm at the Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel. However, until restrictions are lifted due to Covid-19 then we are holding online sessions on Zoom.

Your success in achieving your goals depends greatly on the time and effort you put into it. Therefore, we encourage members to attend as often as they can. We also rely on our members to make each and every meeting run smoothly.
